Welcome back from Christmas break.  We are now going to move on to World War I.  I would like you to read Chapter 12 sect 1in your textbook.  On page 419 question 6 asks you to write an essay in which express your support for the preparedness movement.  I want you to write an essay of at least 250 words where you persuade the public that the United States must prepare for war.  A good essay will talk about things like alliances, nationalism, the Assassination of the Archduke, and probably ancestral ties to Great Britain, Italy and France.
